I have a set of Logitech 5500 5.1 speakers. currently i'm running a Santa Cruz sound card and thinking of upgrading to an X-Fi. My question is would it be better to stick with my current configuration, get the X-Fi and use digital output, or get the X-Fi and use 6-Channel direct?
I listen to a lot of music, play games and watch DVD's. I don't do recording or mixing. I'd like to have high quality sound reproduction (as good as you can get for a PC based sound solution with my speakers).
