Digital output?

Do monitors have optical/HDMI digital out? Since my motherboard lacks dedicated audio out (without issues) I thought it would be useful if a monitor had features like TV's, where you send audio & video to the TV then TV audio output - optical or HDMI ARC/E-ARC to a ARC

Not usually. You can use a HDMI audio splitter but would be easier getting a USB sound card to meet your needs.
