Depends on how much I use it for work, if I just use it to commute then just shy of 30, if I use it for work a fair bit then mid 20s

I've considered it but I couldnt get the Yaris over the Mitsubishi Ralliart Colt but they are too expensive at the moment and I really dont want to part with my car so I'll just put up with the MPG

My Audi has a completely Digital Dash (bar the mileage clock) and the Fuel Gauge reads in Gallons, not sure how accurate it is, I've driven around on 0 before but that gets annoying after a bit as when you reach 2 Gallons it actually talks to you and says "Please Refuel".
That looks epic & 80's all at the same time!
My last Fiesta and Focus had digital fuel guages (still a needle though) which definitely based itself off your driving style & calculated range to go etc, which really irked me. That said, it definitely takes raw readings from a float type mechanism in the tank; if you set the dash into diagnostic mode and flipped it to the tank readout you could see the hex number jumping about all the over the place going over bumps etc.

So it should - its both epic and 80's (the car - Audi Quattro) I always hated the digital dash on them, I'm old enough to remember them when new!

The fully digital display on my car is one of my favourite things about the car lol

I find the fuel sensor is pretty accurate but if I'm really bothered I know the tank is 18.5 gallons and can cycle through to fuel used which is supposedly very accurate.
Can't say I've ever had to though as I always brim it when it gets down to a quarter tank or so.
Also given I'm driving a car, rather than flying an F-22 Raptor I find the digital gauges perfectly fine for conveying how fast I am going and the rate of acceleration etc etc

I always brim it when it gets to 2 bars or when i know the next journey needs more than i have in the tank.
But rather than looking at the gauge, i use the miles done on the current tank to see how long i got left. I know it can do 350miles ish on my driving style that I built up the past 3 months (according to Roadtrip app) so I brim it when i get to 300miles.

My Clio is fairly accurate while the car is running, although when it is stopped (ie. the few occasions I've popped out and turned the ignition on to check it), it tends to under read.
In the Focus, full->half seems to last forever, then half->empty seems to disappear in about 20 miles.
Digital read outs in litres are no better -they are still getting their information from the same sensors. For example in the VX220, in the space of about 1 mile, it could read anywhere from 11 - 21litres.
