Digital Xbox One Games - Does the game location restriction matter?

Hi

In NZ, the games are still quite expensive on digital downloads compared to say the ones on CDKeys with [UK] beside there title. I recall when I had my 360 that the region locks where in place, but wanted to check whether this still mattered for Xbox One games? If so, what's the best method to get them working if possible?

Finally, is there a good game tracking website that I can look at to find the best deal on digital games, similar to isthereanydeal.com?

I know it's not the same scenario as yours but I bought the physical version of NHL 20 off Amazon last year and they sent me the German copy which worked absolutely fine - I'm in Scotland.

I'd hazard a guess that you should be okay to get the UK version.
