Dilemma

Hi all

Just brought an 4800+ X2 [from here last week] to replace my old ageing 3200+. Looked at the difference on tom hardware cpu chart [in hindsight that was a stupid move], and i have this nagging feeling that i should have got core 2 duo, the E6300 instead.

should i

a) go the whole hog and get a E6300 and clock the life out of it

b) Install the 4800+ and upgrade in a few years,

c) Flog 4800+ and upgrade at xmas

d) Throw the whole lot out of the window and change my name to Glenda

c - i'd still be inclined to wait a few months before i jump to conroe.

E) keep this rig, setup another rig using the old parts and buy another core duo rig for cristmass, setup folding on all systems and get working for team 10!

Won't the nice people at OCUK swap the 4800 for the 6300? - assuming you haven't already opened box etc?

iirc you can return it within 7 days by law.
