Hi all,

I bought my 360 just before Xmas last year and imo i regret buying it.

1) its at my gf's house

2) Some game's i've played on the pc and don't think its worth getting on the 360

3) no xbox live as there is no net connection down stairs

4) Some older games do work and some don't , so i hate the idea of re-buying games i already have.

5th) played the Wii with a mate and fell in love :D BUT the GF is like NO your not getting one as we have the 360!!!!

i'm soooo tempted to get one still as i think has better 2 player for the both of us as that is where the 360 is killing us atm

so i've got no idea what to do really..

We both enjoy playing lego star was etc , and the lego batman will be out at some point.
 
Sounds like you don't like the 360. Is there any reason why her opinion means you can't get one? If so then see if she'll let you get one if you sell the 360.

Her opinion = spending money , as I'm meant to be saving etc :D


it's not that i don't like the 360 , enjoyed many hours on the old xbox , i feel there isn't many 2 player games out. And the games i want (enjoy) she hates. So there is a conflict there.

i might buy the Wii anyway :E and get a mouth full.

what extra equipment would i need extra for the Wii? to get max 2 player going?
or any extras that make life easier , batteries etc?
 
1) Get your Xbox from her house

2) You're not compelled to buying games which you've already played

3) You don't need Live to enjoy the console

4) You need the Hard Drive to play the older games

5) Don't let her control you (if you want to trade your 360 for a Wii then go ahead!) ;)

Rechargeable batteries and charger, but not the crap and overpriced unofficial wii specific ones, just get some standard rechargeables. If your TV has component inputs get a component cable but other than that just an extra wiimote and nunchuck and you're away.
 
Rayman Raving Rabbids will be popular if your missus is anything like mine. Also, think about getting a couple of sets of bongos and a copy of Donkey Konga for the Gamecube - then let her beat you at this a couple of times so that she feels good about it ;)

Why not just ask if someone wants to do a straight swap on the Members Market? I swapped my 360 plus games for a UK PS3. There's bound to be a few people who are bored with it and want to try a 360 instead.

We only played it for an hour last night as we both had to go to work (today) she's enjoying it also which is all good.

looking to get an Officially Licensed Nintendo Wii Messenger (£25) Bag atm as ill be taking it to and from her house and mine. There are some on bay , but they look taccy :/

also whats the best site to see up and coming games for the Wii?
