Looking to upgrade the old 19 inch monitor and the 5850 soon... .

Monitorwise I've been looking at these 2 below :-

samsung

Benq

Currently have a 5850 that I'll be upgrading probably next month if i pick up the monitor this month...

What would you recommend ?? Get the Samsung and then put the extra cash (saved by the VAT BACK offer) towards a better gfx card. was thinking 7950 but probably could stretch a bit further to a 7970 or even a 680 get the 'cheaper ' samsung...

Currently only playing bf3 and Eve online... given the max resolutions of both these monitors would a 2gb 680 be ok or would you suggest more ram from the 7950/7970 or a 4gb 680 ??

ATM I just fancy a nice screen.. 120hz with 3d possibilities.. Current screen has a matte finish so would probably prefer that.. Also height adjuster could be a good thing..

As for the gfx card I'm not fussed. It plan to keep the rig for a good 3 yrs..with minimal upgrades if possible.. I've always been an ati follower but I'm not adverse to switching to nvidia if my eyes are t being pulled out over price/performance.

hmm looks like I'll be getting a 670 to replace the trusty 5850... So I think I'll be looking at getting the Benq...

Samsung does look really nice though... I just dont think I could be bothered with the hassle of hacking about to 'fix' 3d with an nvidia card..

Stag do in edinburgh next weekend so I'll be ordering it all for the weekend after :)
