Did any 1250 owners happen to take measurements of the pump without the inlet connector? I'm thinking about getting one and running it submerged and am trying to figure out what size tub I'm going to need.
All the sites I've checked only quote what I assume to be the full size 178 L x 96W x 121 H (mm)

I'm sure I've seen photos with it removed

Get the AquaXtreme 50Z-DC12 pump instead m8 as it runs of your computer molex and it`s very quiet over the Eheim and it`s a lot smaller, just a bit of imfo m8 as i changed from that pump you want and was very happy.

There you go:)

Sweet, without the barb it looks about 13cm. Thanks Tim.

Thanks for the alternative Clone, I'm still in the planning stage so may ditch the radbox plan and go with an internal setup. It looks very similar to the danger dd4, is it the same pump just re-badged?

Im not sure if it is the same as the DD one m8 but i can tell you that the AquaXtreme pump is very quiet compared to the 1250 also it dont take up as much room, here is a piccy of mine when i had it in my Lian li pc 75.
It ran a triple rad/cpu/ chipset block, god i miss it,mind you my mach2 gt is nearly up and running :D

Interesting, I could re-jig the layout of the radbox to accomodate that nicely. My big concern would be that it would load the PSU causing the fans to speed up and make more noise, better do some research.
