Hi guys,

I have the following space between the kitchen wall and L shape sofa in my living room which I think would be great for a small dining room table. Unfortunately I'm not sure it is big enough. Ideally I could get a table that would fit 4 people (by default or when extended).

Do you have any idea on the maximum dimensions the table could be and if a circle or a square/rectangle table would be better? Can be glass or wood. I need to consider space for the chairs and people to actually fit in the chairs.

I use to live in a small house with tight dinning area, my mum got me this and it was a godsend: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6031578.htm

I still use it after 3 years and apart from the couple of scuff when one stores the chair (hidden when the door is closed), it's pretty much perfect in condition for an almost daily use furniture. Heavy solid wood and don't roll around when locked. Yes, chair is a little hard but no issue for dining, even had long chats with guest on them chairs with no issue.

Now it's permanently on 1 side folded up as only 2 of us dine, extended when there's more than us.

From the dimension, it should fit. Hope this helps.
