Woo hoo!! Wifey managed to get us a lunch table at Dinner by Heston end of December! Been wanting to go for ages (wife loves Heston basically) but as we're both working in Norway it's been such a pain to organise. Very happy :). To top it off she booked us in at Petrus for dinner so should be a good day. Om nom.

Anyone else been to Dinner and what did you think?
 
Very nice, would love to go there.
Love the sample menu, just the cuisine I like at top restaurants.

Sadly my favourite dish, beef royale, was taken off the menu due to control problems which was a real shame :(

The meat fruit is great, as is the rice and flesh starters. You definitely need to give the pork chop a go from the mains. The tafferty tart is fantastic (if available), as is the tipsy cake with pineapple.

It's not as formal as some might expect and fairly relaxed service. Food is certainly very solid 1* stuff
