It's close to release now - currently preordering gets you into the beta and the price of $19.99.
I tried the demo this morning, need to play it more but it impressed me more than I thought. Diablo/Torchlight combat. Graphics aren't as good as Torchlight but the gameplay I think is.

* Multiple stories where your role is to save each town before moving on
* quests are not static and may resolve so if you have to rescue someone and don't in a timely fashion they may get killed etc. Not quite explored how deep this goes
