apparently I have to have 2 direct debits to avail myself of the Halifax £100 opening account offer.

Is there an easy way of having 2 direct debits on my account for minimal amounts.

(Money's tight these days, not much work for an idiot running around, hugging people and shouting Blobeeeeeeee !)

Seems far too much trouble for very little tbh.

Can't see where you need 2 DD's?

You can't just receive DDs as a private individual, you have to go through the application process and receive a trading number or something (it's been a while).

If you're really that desperate you could potentially set up two DDs then cancel them as soon as Halifax gave you the £100.

Setup PayPal. they can use the direct debit to draw funds from your account if you ever use it.

But they won't if you don't.
