direct line banner ad sound (and other anoyying ads)

Im a regular user or http://www.radiotimes.com/ and theres a direct line banner that makes a very loud alarm clock beeping sound all of a sudden its VERY VERY ANOYING with my headphones on :rolleyes:

more and more ads are getting very anoying audio-wise of the top of my head i can recall the askfrank ad as well

Ok, get adblock and noscript for Firefox.

Yep just as masslac puts it, use Firefox with the appropriate plug-in, what annoys me is them smiley ads 'hello' or the bee 'zzzzz' there stupid & very annoying

I personally use this app to stop banner ads BISS Hosts, it's pretty good imo, and you can manually add any urls you come across

Adblock. Gets rid of that annoying ocuk advert in the top right hand corner of the forums anyway.
