Direct x 9 issues

hey guys

having major problems installing my games on my pc, i have a 8800gtx, wiidows xp pro 64 bit verison. everytime i try and install a game it says direct x9c neede to run game, please download from microsoft.com

i have downloaded the 9c version and installed it but still get errors, is there any way of unistalling it and the reinstalling it as i cant find it in add remove programs.

please help i wanna play supreme comander

Just try reinstalling it again, should work fine http://filehippo.com/download_directx/
