Update: used a disk image to put the PC back to how it was a little while before I installed ME. Battlefront once again appears to be working fine (fingers crossed). Installing ME must have changed something, reluctant to bother reinstalling it...

I wouldnt be surprised if Denuvo DRM is at fault here. Remember Starforce DRM? that thing was dreadful.
Well, it's starting doing it in Battlefront again, can't play more than 5 mins before it crashes. Since I know the pc has been reverted to a time when all the software seemed to be working, I'm guessing it must actually be hardware.
Assuming the graphics card itself is the most likely culprit? Saw PSU mentioned, but since it's a decent make and it's not old, I'd hope it's not that...

Some things to try:
- underclock gpu core and memory with MSI AB
- Check system memory with memtest86.
- Stress test gpu with MSI Kombuster gpu and VRAM test.
- Update Motherboard bios
- Test gpu in other pci-e slot

I had this in mass effect andromeda. I did a windows 10 update and it works a treat. I stopped using afterburner as that crashs in mea and bf1 for me ever time.
