Just upgraded my graphics card (Geoforce 550TI to a Radeon R9 270) and now none of my games will play due to direct x error messages.

For example for tomb raider 'This game requires a direct 9.0c capable graphics card.
Your card or driver does not support direct 9.0c 3d acceleration '

Help :confused:
 
Try using a program such as Driver Fusion or DDU to wipe all of your graphics drivers and then do a fresh install of the latest ones for your 270. I'd imagine that the current problem is driver incompatibility - i.e. there are still remnants of the Nvidia drivers on your computer which do not "agree" with the AMD drivers.
