Ive been mucking about with a spare comp and windows 2008 r2 but when I play media its blocky, I run DX diag and its says


direct draw accel - not available

direct3d accel - not available

agp texture acell -not available


any ideas how to fix this?

Nope its a intel core duo with 2gb of ram I had laying about, I want to build a media storage / streaming server quite soon so I thought id get some practise in with some old kit I had lying about.

Speaking of which can anyone tell me of a good 200 - 300 pound raid card with preferably 8 port, I was kind of shocked at some of the reviews of the LSI ones ocers sells, a lot of people are banging on about adaptec?
