Direct2Drive: Resident Evil 5 @ £14.95

Yeah this is one of the games in the recent Steam sale that I bought and decided to play first and I love it. I can't help but think the controls are a bit clumsy, but it adds to the tension I suppose. :p However it is really annoying when you run out of ammo in a middle of a fight with 3 of those big dogs and you end up loosing a chunk of health while you bring up your inventory and get some from your partner. And she has such garbage aim as well. There's me trying to go for the headshots to preserve our precious ammo while she wastes all of her ammo care free with body shots.

:D. Also if you give her the AK she uses it in single shot. i ended up just giving her the pistol and tuned it up full for her lol. I used the shotgun most of the time and switched to the Sniper for long range shots.

I found i had more than enough ammo but i put it on normal mode for a first run. The Magnum and grenade launcher hardly got a look in, which is very unlike RE. In the first games, when you get the grenade launcher its a godsend, same with the magnum.
 
Shame i am only getting 300kbs download, not played any resident evils since 2 properly.... will say how it goes

Ah I've not got far enough to get an AK yet. I've been finding that I have to use the pistol a lot as there is sod all else about, but have been starting to get more ammo for the other guns which is a relief. Best weapon so far I've found has got to be the flash grenade. Just chuck it then punch all the stunned zombies in the face. :D
 
Got it in Impulse when it was on sale, great game, recommend it! The port is really awesome, I love the mouse aiming...could not played RE4 with its horrible controls (and cannot stand gamepads), but this plays perfectly.
 
I REALLY hope that the new Resident Evil 5 DLC content that will be out next year for the console versions will also come out for the PC. It will be stupid for Capcom not to as this game really needs some extra levels/content.

Hell, give us the ****ing same Versus multiplayer game modes that the console version has, make No Mercy online co-op enabled or add in local offline split-screen play (This was a huge and surprising decision to take it out for the PC version!).
