Direct2Drive ?

Has anyone ever purchased from them ? Im looking to buy the GTA Collection from them, as its $29.99 compared to steams $43.45. How does it work ? Would it be better to get them on Steam (less hassle) ? Thanks in advance

Edit - Actually, on Steam it would be $51.05 after they add tax, ouch.

bought from both with no problems , direct2drive is usualy cheaper so go for it .

Could you download and install with direct2drive and then add to the steam games list to get the ingame community?

I've used Direct2drive a few times, remember some games are north america only so when you go to purchase it won't let you.

I've never had a problem with anything I bought though!

dont know mate never added a game to steam , but at a guess you probely can ? edit seems you can i just added dirt to the list .

I've added a lot of non-Steam games to Steam without problems.

You can add any non steam game to get the in game community, it just wont have any fancy server support. Also (and I don't know if this has been fixed) when Steam community was released any punkbuster enabled non steam games would throw a fit if you tried to launch it under steam.

I have too, makes it much easier having just one place to launch all your games from.
