directory style site - anything prebuilt e.g wordpress plugin

looking at making a very basic directory style website to go alongside another site. as this isn't the main service we're not looking to make it ourself (could do but it'd take too long).

hoping something like a wordpress plugin will be anble to do what i want. wordpress could already kind of do what we need though it'd need a fair amount of editing to get the style better matched to a directory.

doesn't need to be wordpress any thing will do.

sorry should have put. it's like yellow pages directory. to clear it up some more basically we'll be doing small amounts of work for a lot of local companies and went to list them in an online directory as we go e.g. these are the local builders we work with, the local cleaners etc,. this would be an added benefit to our services, though not expected to be much else, which is why we want something basic that wont take much time to get installed and ready to go.
