Directx 10 demos

Are there any elementary demos available ?

WIthout even clicking that looks like a movie not a physical run demo. :rolleyes:

Nvidia has a few dX10 graphics demos.. check um out.

how about a whole game ?

yes its true, you can get a game called robo blitz (i think thats what its called)

its on steam and uses DX10, its cheap too , but in $'s.

Yes there is. The latest Nvidia Beta Drivers for Vista have DX10 support.

In fact just downloaded the latest nvidia demos, and they updated directx10. Well it tried too but it was already installed.

The Cascades and Adrianne ones are impressive, infact all 4 are

if you go grab the directx sdk (here), it has some DX10 samples. kind of a big download for a few demos though.

Cascards won't run on XP as it's obviously DX10, but I can get Adrianne to work, however it crawls at 8FPS with a 3.2GHZ conroe, 8800GTS 650/2000?

Could this be a DX10/driver thing?

Xp gives 21-26 FPS
Vista is 26-30 FPS

on 1600-1200
1.5 Supersample Multi

You should be getting more than 8 fps in xp it seems.

Well i'm only running 1GB at the moment as my mobo is being RMA'ed today due to one channel being dead.

I score over 10,000 in 3Dm'06 however, so I don't think my GTS is crippled.

I certainly didn't upgrade for DX10. I simply wanted the best performacne for DX9.
