DIRT 2 - 100% CPU load normal?

as per the title, noticed this morning that i am getting stutters and the cpu is at 100% load all the time playing it, 4770's are at around 30-40% each

Normal?

Uses a good 75%+ on all of my cores when playing (see speac below) - so I would say yes

I had an E8500 @4GHz and dirt 2 is one of the reasons I went for the i5. If i left task manager running, both cores used to be between 90-100% all the time I was playin dirt 2. With the i5 all 4 cores seem to use about 40-60%. The game is much better for it. It's a big difference

You can tell this game was primarily designed with the Xbox360, as it becomes much smoother when you have 3 cores or more.

On my dual core Phenom II 550 i average 40-45fps, turn on a 3rd core and it stays at a solid 60fps.

Look at picking up a second hand Quad core and you should see a big difference.

yeah that is my plan, trying to hunt down a Q6600

as long as their is nothing wrong with the system then i am a happy boy for now
