Dirt 2 graphics question

Got everything maxed out and get steady 60fps. But....none of the cars throw up dust. It just looks weird on places like Morocco - there should be a crap-load of dust....but the cars just sort of glide along almost like they're above the surface. Maybe I'm hoping for too much, but I seem to remember rally games from years ago had dust effects, didn't they? Also, the wheels look terrible on the replays - very blocky. Am I missing some advanced settings or something :confused:

BTW, can't afford Dirt 3 right now, before anybody says

Dirt 2 deffinately has dust! And mud and all sorts - it even dirties up the cars!

You must have missed a setting somewhere, check out the graphics options - it's probably a tick box somewhere.

Turns out it was the drivers. I realized the water wasn't showing and I was getting flickering shadows too. I installed the latest drivers and everything is now fine

My drivers weren't that old either - just been sticking with them as I had no problems.....until now.
