DiRT 2 question - 360

So i've been playing DiRT 2 on the 360 and my question is that in most places i.e. London, China....etc i have one race left that is not unlocked and all i see is a ? on it so i'm wondering what i need to do in order to unlock these final events.

I have made sure all races i can do are complete and have also been playing all the throwdowns there are but the remaining races don't show up and i'm runing out of things to do in the game.

It's really bugging me not knowing what to do.

You done all of the world tour and x games races?

I have done all the x games available and all the world tours along with the Colin Mcrae challenge and i believe i've completed all events in every place but there is one last locked and uknown race in most of them which is i can't get.

Do you need to come first in everything or does 2nd/3rd suffice? If so i may need to check see if any races where finished outside of either 1,2 or 3.

Will check as i may have left races where i've finished at least 3rd thinking that would be fine.
