Any idea how long it takes them to Confirm the Dirt3 Promo?


Bought this 2 days ago and got the promo card, upon entering the code etc it asks for digital proof (I submitted scan), and apparently need to confirm it been I'm able to download the game

Any idea on how long it takes for this process before I can download + play? ^^
 
not sure, i submitted mine yesterday and as it is the weekend i dont expect it to be done until Monday at the earliest. They may have a lot to check through.
 
I got one with my new GPU...registered it and it downloaded through steam, game crashed first time I ran it and not tried it since, not really bothered as I don't play driving sims, it was free so I thought I would see what it was like.
 
was going to buy a retail copy of this today, if i try to register my retail copy key on steam will i have all this hassle or is it only the AMD codes that need verified?

what a waste you should have sold it or give it away for free.
 
You won't have hassle if you buy retail @eXist, yeh it's only AMD codes that need this, as their full list got leaked apparently so now you need to present proof that you have it :p
