Hi

I'm having a problem with my screen lock and I wondered if anybody can help?
I'm using an early 2011 MBP, running Lion 10.7.2.

I have Screen Lock 2 which I use to lock my screen but there is an automatic screen lock that comes on if I use that MBP unused for a number of minutes. How do I switch this off? I have looked in preferences for Keychain Access because I think it's in there but I can't find anything. I also have the screen saver switched off, so it's not related to that.

Thanks :)

Have you checked in Energy Saver, under System Preferences? Computer and Display sleep properties in there.

Also in Security & Privacy, under System Preferences, there's a setting for requiring a password after sleep or screen saver.

Sorted.

It was putting the computer to sleep from the settings in Energy Saver and then asking for a password from the settings in Security. I was getting them confused as assuming that it was a screen lock.

Thanks for your help :)
