Disable Fan LEDs?

I've just completed a rebuild using RGB components and have gone for a different colour scheme.

My case is a Silverstone FT02 and I have 3 FN181-BL fans at the bottom but I no longer want the blue LEDs.

Rather than buy 3 non led versions is there a particular cable I can cut that will disable them?

The wires will often be visible on the outside of the frame. Just cut the wire leading to each LED individually.

This. Just make sure you don't short them out.

It's only a 3 pin fan so it'll just steal the power from the fan.

It probably wouldn't matter if you did short them out. It's not like they're directly powered by the 12v of your power supply. Just don't short any of the bared wires to your case. That might be more of an issue.
