Disable OcUK overclocking profile ASUS

Hi

I think the frequent BSOD i'm gettting is because of the cpu overclock which kicks in when cpu is under load. It's one that came pre-installed on the motherboard

It's an i5 2500k. In the bios I see an OcUK profile - and under AI tweaks the multiplier is set to 46.. which looks like it corresponds to the 4600mhz running speed i get under load

I want to run it for a while at stock clocks to see if it is the problem,
but I can't figure out how to turn it off ??

Go into bios and load default setup, remembering to set 1st boot device to hard drive after.

as above but also contact OCUK in CS section they will also be able to help you with your overclock settings to try to get them stable again

lol a bios rest and it should be what you want then reload the OC profile

Go into bios change 46 to 44 and then save profile as jaws1 or whatever, you then have a less overclocked 4.4GHz profile with no other changes. Try also 42 etc.

Thx for replies, ran it in power save mode in bios last night before reading this thread again today. PC didn't BSOD once all night (about 5 hours) playing dishonoured, which it would every 15 min or so when overclocked.

So it's definately either cpu or memory. Will run a mem test when i have chance
