disable POST?

is it possably to disable the POST @ startup?
when i hit the power on switch nothing happens for 10 seconds, then it beeps, then it boots up. cant i have it so it just boots up straight away?
because of this im @ 30 seconds from hitting the switch to working desktop, id like to reduce this

I don't think you can, all boards go through a self check on startup.

Have a look in your BIOS for a Quick Boot option. Most boards can do a shorter POST if you're happy with system stability. Not advised if you're overclocking though.

yeah quick boot is already enabled :/
