hi there - this may be the wrong section to post it but couldnt think where else
firstly i have moved my pc to downstairs next to the tv to use as a htpc as the laptop is always being used instead of the desktop now
i have it all setup using xbmc and a windows remote which works great and i can hibernate the pc and start it back up using the remote
i have therefore disconnected the keyboard and mouse as i have a 2 year and a 1 year old in the house!
now the only think im trying to figure out now is how to stop them from pressing the power button on the case to bring the pc out of hibernation?
i cant move the pc im afraid as space doesnt allow and cant afford to build a proper sff as yet
i did read someone before with a similar issue and they disconnected the power switch from the button and re-located it to the IO panel
i would like to do that if i could as they cant reach the back of the pc case
if this is possible then is it as straight forward as it sounds or should i be buying a new switch/adapter to fit correctly into the IO panel
sorry if this all sounds confusing
