Hi,

I've got some tickets for the game tomorrow and I'm thinking of taking my girlfriends parents. Is the disabled parking near to the ground? She has a permit and walks with a stick but should be able to get to the seat fine but obviously parking close by is important.

I've tried ringing but getting through is a bit difficult!

Has anyone ever used disabled parking with normal match tickets at United?

Thanks

Disabled parking right outside ground

Most likely need to get there early and will also be stuck there after the game til the crowd clears

WHAT DO I DO ABOUT PARKING ? Manchester United has the most extensive provision for disabled persons parking at any league stadium in the country. Those with tickets for the wheelchair platform, both home and away supporters, automatically receive a car parking place for the car parks immediately opposite the front of the stadium, in car park E2 (those supporters located in the new North West quadrant will be directed to car par W2). Supplementary disabled persons parking provision is available to supporters with other disabilities. Information relating to this is available on request from the MUDSA Secretary.

There must be disabled parking at Old Trafford. They signed Michael Owen and Hargreaves.

Come on, it had to be done :p

Something I've always wondered about stadiums. Why do they stick their disabled and therefore most vulnerable / least able to get out of the way right by the pitch? :p

Yes there is disabled parking in the car-park directly opposite the main entrance.

I suspect the other car-parks are similar.

Cheers for the info, thought as much, I'll get there early and see what they say. Worst case I'll drop them off and then park where I normally do and walk back.

so tell me how do you avoid that massive traffic jam after games? It was huge on saturday!

does anyone go to old trafford and park like 1 to 4 miles away? Then after the game walk to their car and avoid the traffic!? If so where!?

LOL yeah it's a nightmare, I almost always get a taxi after the game about 15 minutes from the stadium, night time games aren't as bad but 3pm and 5.15 kick offs are the worst
