Quick question. Ive treated myself to a nice new desk, Logitec K811 keyboard and a Magic trackpad. All is working fine and i absolutely love it, however, I was wondering if there was any other way of disabling the main keyboard backlight on the mac when I'm using the bluetooth devices.

Obviously i can just go into the settings and disable it that way but this means that once i resort back to the main keyboard/trackpad i will have to adjust it back on.

Yup exactly this. F5 or if you have enabled F keys rather than the media keys fit "fn + F5"

F5? Keep pressing it till it turns off?

Brilliant. Thanks guys :D

Should help save a little juice when using bluetooth, although, once i take delivery of my monitor i'll be hooking it up to the mains so that shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks again
