My friend as a new laptop advent modena M201 and he wants to turn the touchpad click off. I have looked everywhere, but can't find anyway to swith it off, any help would be appriciated. He is using win7, I have been in system and propperties but no luck.

Control panel > mouse settings then click the Synaptics tab and it should be an option in there.
if the tab is not there at all you need to install the driver from the mfg's web site or from Synaptics...
even though it works it needs the special driver to be able to mess with the more advanced settings
