Disappearing HDD space!

I got a new Dell Inspiron 1520 a couple of weeks ago, however it seems that my hard drive space is constantly going down! It's got a 250GB hard drive, with 10GB partitioned off for a recovery sector, so that's 220GB formatted on the main partition. After copying all my stuff to the laptop I had 20GB free (yeh I have a lot of junk :p), but within a week this had dropped to 1GB without me installing or downloading anything. So I deleted another 10GB of stuff, and once again it's gone down to 1GB of space. What the hell's eating all my space?

Selecting all the files and folders on the hard drive only counts 190GB, where's the other 30GB?

Managed to find the cause, Vista is set by default to use 15% of your hard drive for shadow files and restore points, which is 30GB for my size disc! That's an excessive ammount of backup, so I deleted the old restore points (C:/->Properties->Disk Cleanup->More Options) then reduced the allocated space for it down to 5GB. Much better, 26GB free now :)
