Ordered one of the new Antec 1200's and a Coolermaster Real Power 850 yesterday. Arrived just now.

The 1200 box has been knocked about a fair bit and is damaged; thankfully the packaging is very solid so looks like no damage to the case inside.

The power supply has turned up in an old brown box, shoddily wrapped, like an OEM product, with no english plug but a 2 pin instead. Is this power supply normally supplied in this state. No instructions and I have no idea whats supposed to be in the case with it.

I'm wondering WTF I paid £130 for ?

Spoken to Martin Roberts in their customer service department. Sounds like it has been a genuine mistake and he is sorting it out for me.

Guess these things will always happen now and again. A+ with regards to customer service, though.

always call them first - they are mint when it comes to customer service - im lucky as i live a few streets away!

I'm having City Link problems again. Someone sat in waiting for delivery all day. Nothing. Check their website and it says we weren't in and they've put a card through! I have had this before. Often late on a Friday afternoon. Hmmm...

I've now got to try and get to the depot tomorrow with a 2 year old in tow and hope they haven't put it back on the van to try and deliver again.

Whinge...moan...whinge.... :(

I live in a very big flat comlpex meaning that drivers have to go through a bit extra effort to deliver to my place (well they have to wait for 2 minutes for me to get down the stairs) and I found that City Link don't even bother ringing the bell anymore and just happy to write my address off as card left (where there isn't one). I usually end up picking up the parcel myself from the depot nowadays.

I really needed to get this today, build it tomorrow, test it on Sunday as my wife will be giving birth on Monday so my PC playing time will be limited!

We've had BIG parcels delivered by a lone City Link driver who couldn't physically carry them. I had to go to the van and help him!

We had a postman who used to do the same with the cards. Just wander down the street putting cards through without knocking. You just can't get the staff nowadays!

We get the same scams from the courier we use in work.
Coupla weeks ago I had a chap say "they bloody didn't you know and I've got a full CCTV record to prove it". Dunno if it did him any good, but I can't see how they could wriggle out of it.
A favourite trick is to drive past the end of your street, that way when the boss checks any GPS logger, it looks like they did indeed try to deliver.

FOrtunately, our local CityLink boys are very good indeed (and by the power of Murray Walker, that'll be three weeks I wait on the next delivery).

i was out a few days ago at work, my dad was in he recieved a few parcels for me

i arrive home from work, i precede to babel on at how rubbish citylink are when my dad says your parcels are here and when my dad asked him a few bits about why he never collected my parcels the day before he says he treats me like a son  should i be worried ?

Lots of CityLink problems :)

I was having problems too; no sign of a "next day" delivery after a week - tracking reported two instances of "delivery point closed - carded." No card.

It turned out that the driver had been going to the wrong address (not really his fault, I live on a confusing estate.) Once I'd exchanged emails and spoken with a nice lady at CityLink, we got it all sorted - I guided the driver in by mobile. He said that I will have no problems in future, now that he knows where I am!

Incidentally, if you live in a flat with entryphone, like I do, they will NOT leave a card due to security issues - anyone could pick up the card and try to claim your stuff.

Went to pick up the packages today. I had to stand at the desk and point to the boxes through in the warehouse that I could see were mine after he came back saying he couldn't find them. My two year old was desperate to get into the warehouse. I should have let her, she'd have done a better job!

I now have 3 PCs to build in two days before my two year old acquires a sibling on Monday!

Big kudos as well to Overclockers who refunded the delivery charge. I've had nothing but good service from them and continue to be glad I buy all my kit there!
