I got this delivered by my lovely postie earlier today and I have to say I'm somewhat disappointed :(

Although it looks pretty and runs fast the whole game just feels kinda....empty I guess is what I'm looking for :o

The World Xplorer mode is on the whole frustrating (start last, finish first...) and there seems to be little variation at all :( I have yet to take the game online yet so that side of it maybe more rewarding...

I can totally accept that it's an arcade racer etc. but it just hasn't really grabbed me. Also I'm gonna kill the announcer :/

When I played it with my mate earlier it was a lot of fun with plently of laughter. He left and I resumed the single player 'career' and I got stuck, frustrated, fed up and then quit - please tell me it gets better?

I find it stupidly addictive. Yes it's the same thing over and over, but it's got that 'one more race' factor.

It is good online, so I suggest you give it a go. Add me to your friends if you want. GT Oli Owl. Could do with a few people with it off here and get a private lobby running.

I am really enjoying the world explorer is huge and will take some time to get through

Second best RR i think of course the first RR is still the best revolution was more the same rage was well er not a proper RR game and type 4 was ok the PS2 virson was average

Stick with it its not a huge jump from the other games but if it ant broke dont fix it

Great graphics great sound track (well most of it) and GREAT POWER SLIDES
everything a GREAT RR should be

Its a weird game, offline, i find it dull and laboured. Online it shines! I had a fantastic day yesterday playing with a friend *cough*, we had some cracking races. I was seriously considering swapping or selling it, but now im totally converted.

I saw this in 'game' today set up on the 360 being played by a couple of lads, the graphics looked brilliant but the way he was going round bends at 90 degree angles looked absolutely ridiculous.. just looked like the car was on ice with no real feel there at all. By watching it being played for 5 minutes, I can say that Id never pay £40 for that, as ^ up there said, bargain bin stuff.

edit: but I can see how it can be a laugh/fun in 2 player mode for awhile. Single player its all about the project gotham :)

You can't possibly compare the two. Other than the fact they both have four wheels, they're completely different games, catering for different markets.

That sums it up perfectly for me - empty.

The engine noise also starts to grate after several races.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

Then turn the music up. What about the on-screen text, is that ok for you?

I have turned it up and its still annoying after a while :p

On screen text is fine, is there a problem for you

I'm really enjoying RR6. I suppose it depends what you expect from the game though. As a fan of the original RR on my PSOne I love it. Sure, it isn't a realistic game, but it isn't supposed to be, it's all about arcade thrills.

There's something very satisfying about getting a powerslide just right and flicking around a corner perfectly. I'm finding the single player explorer mode great fun at the minute. I also think this game has the best graphics of any 360 release so far, It looks great.

Multiplayer is excellent, I hosted a 14 player game on sunday for ages and it was brilliant. I instantly got loads of people joining and hardly had any lower than 10 players in a race.

I'm enjoying the game allot! Good fun online. PGR online seems a bit too competitive to me, and I would rather just have a laugh. :)

hi.
its a great game to play on line.i have had a lot of fun playing against some japanese and americans the other night.
add me to your friends.
sheena5.
cheers ian.

just been playing rr6 it in my local game have to say im quite impressed just ordered my console from them too it should be with me next week fingers crossed.

I have both PGR3 and RR6 and i prefer RR6 tbh it's far more fun and definately the best online 360 game so far (hosting 14 player races with no lag is fantastic!). I do prefer arcade racers like RR, Wipeout and Sega Rally in fact it would be great to see Wipeout and Sega Rally on the 360.

After playing PGR3 it felt a little lacking at first but i've really got into it now and i'm really enjoying it. Online is good fun, if you bump another car its no big deal as they just get a little speed boost and you slow a touch and theres no morons shouting "you ******* ****" down due to being taken out which I found in PGR3.

Considering the fact I don't get much gaming time its probably a testament to how much i've enjoyed it as I put in over 4 hours in my first 2 days. Thats more than my combined gaming time on Kameo and Kong which i've had since December 31st.
