Hello All

I run a Invision power board for a local club of mine and was creating some new permissions tonight when stupidly thought I would try them out using my account (only admin on the forum). So i have now changed the only admin on the forum into a super moderator and cant access the admin panel to change it back. So now I have no admin power on my forum and no-way to create a new admin.

Is there anyway I can change this back or simply import another admin to change me back to an admin. Ofcourse I have ftp access and PhPMyAdmin access so that is not a problem.

I thought I would come here first as someone has got to have done this before.

Please help me.

I'm not overly familiar with IPB, but you would think primary security rights or usergroup would just be a field against your user account on the relevant table. Have a browse through the DB and see if anything jumps out as obvious.
 
If you trust me, send / make available a copy of the db for me and I'll fix it.

I've administrated an IPB board for NASA, so if their paperwork can trust me so can you :D

This is also why vB has an "undeletable OMG GOD ADMIN" hardcoded into a config file with whom you absolutely cannot screw in any way, shape or form :)
 
You cant half relie on good old ocuk forums.
