Disco Ball

I just bought a Disco Ball off eBay, and I think the bulb inside is not bright enough.

Its a 12V 5W small screw cap bulb, and was just wondering where the best place to buy a brighter bulb is... or is it even possible?

most hardware stores close to you mate. or if u got a B&Q go there now and get 1!

it might not be able to handle a bigger bulb!

there should be a lable somewhere on the wire telling you the maximum

At the bottom of the product it says:

Bulb: E14 12V 5W
Adaptor: 12V AC 500MA

Well the supply can only give 6W max, so really a 5W bulb is the max you can go unless you get a new power supply.

I think he's talking about one of the Gadgetshop style ones. Black plastic with "windows" of different coloured see throughish plastic and a bulb inside. It spins round and projects the different colours disco ball style.

Not one of those mirror balls, but one with a bulb that spins and has different coloured spots on it - don't know how else to describe it

Mine seemed too dim in a dark room... I put it in front of my mirror to make it better, but that only works at home, not at my flat at Uni
