Discon from server BFBC2 pc

Any one have an answer as to why I get frequent discon from servers, whilst playing bfbc2 on pc?

Some times its fine, othertimes I get discon at first, but then Im able to play for an extended period of time?

I disable my antivirus whilst gaming!

No other discon with any other games.
 
It may be that you are being kicked to make way for a clan member whose server you are playing on? I get server disconnects all the time on PS3 but not on PC nor Xbox 360 here.
 
discon hey hey, thats a new one.

Is there a console in bc2? I can't think, might give you some clues if there is.

But I'd go down the pb route, manual update.
 
The message I get just says you have been disconnected from the server, try checking your internet connection bla bla bla....

Of course, I can then imidiatly go back in to the same server, and probably game for a good 40 mins with no discon.

It seems like a bug to me.
 
Yeah the same thing happens to me and a couple of my mates, we all have high end pc's and flawless connections to other games - we concluded ir was the game's fault.

I have two of my clan mates who get this ALL the time. You can fix it but you have to disable a load of stuff. They have both come to the conclusion just to live with it. Like you say, it is one kick then that is it for the session.
 
it kinda sucks when your on a good team though and then you cant rejoin that team.

Its one of the reasons that I no longer play BFBC 2 . Instead I play BF2 AIX mod .
