Disconecting SSD causing graphics card to stop working.

A few months ago, I bought a SSD. After fitting it, I started the computer up, and there was no signal. I removed the graphics card, and then re installed it, and that seemed to sort it out. I did that a few times, and it worked every time. The other day, I disconnected my SSD again to fit it into the computer properly, as I'd only used double sided tape while I waited for the mount to come through. After fitting it, I started the computer up, and the there was no signal. So I removed and reinserted the graphics card, and that didn't do it. I did that a few times, and it still didn't work. I tried a few things. I removed the CMOS battery, and that didn't work. I tried using the on-board graphics, that that didn't work. I tried reinserting the RAM, that didn't work, and I can only get one RAM stick to go back into the slot. Last night, I left the CMOS battery out all night, and refitted it this morning, and the computer is working now. A few questions I want to ask.

Why did removing the SSD cause the graphics card to stop working?

Why doesn't my motherboard beep when there is no RAM installed? It never has beeped, even with the RAM installed.

Why can't I get my other RAM stick to fit properly?

How long does it take for the CMOS to discharge?

Your PC should still work, with the SSD and Graphics card in can you find out the Manufacture and the Wattage of your power supply that could be a problem, and just to make sure you do have it plugged in correctly?

Yes, I have it plugged in correctly. I was wondering if it was a PSU problem, but even after unplugging the SSD, it still didn't work. I'm now worried about putting my SSD back in now I've got my computer working again.

MY PSU is 500W. I can't get inside my computer at the comment, so I can't say what make it is, but it's 500W
