Disconnect VM modem?

Hi All,

I have the old VM modem, since I'm on the 10Mb connection. I'd like to move the modem into a cupboard, and just take the cable out through a hole drilled in the back. Can I just disconnect the cable and re-connect it easily, or does it need a special tool?

You should just be able to screw it off, depending on how tight it is on. There shouldnt be any problems.

Screw on F adapter from what I remember, might need a small spanner thats about it, the engineers have a habit of tightening them far too much lol

Similar to a Sky box, user removable definitely. Just don't twist the cable/fitting independently.
