Just having some weird problems with my parent's internet. Using a Netgear WG111v3 with a Netgear DG834GT router that has been working fine for months. All the PC's in my house are connected wirelessly until I'm willing to fork out for homeplug. Basically my parent's computer connects fine to the network, Netgear diagnostics tool shows it as connected to the internet and for about the first 5 seconds everything works fine. Then everything stops. It still shows me as connected to the router and internet but I can't ping 192.168.0.1, and I can't get on the internet. Any ideas what's wrong? The computer doesn't show up on the attached devices section when it's not working. Could it be that the computer has some how been blocked from accessing the internet? I've tried flushing the DNS, releasing the IP and renewing it but no difference.
