First of all the easy question, im after a new router with wireless built on
Currently i have a netgear DG834 v3 which i prefer to use and the BE speedtouch modem, i hate the BE one but that one has wireless and the other doesn't, im not bothered about price (within reason obviously) and i'll take the best i can buy - security and online gaming are the two main priorities.
What would people suggest?

Now for the problem i have been having:
Every few hours, it's random, my connection will drop, which is driving me mad!
Heres the stats from my box (currently using the BE box):
Uptime: 0 days, 1:15:35
Modulation: G.992.5 Annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1,235 / 7,473
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [MB/MB]: 31.30 / 326.67
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 19.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 26.5 / 47.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 6.5 / 5.0
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / µ
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 12 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 3 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): 0
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 564 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 425,707
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 1,211 / 57
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 1,315 / 47
As you can see lots of errors in a relativly short amount of time, wether they are causing the problem i don't know, im currently using BEs standard SN margin setting with gaming mode off.
I've had them check my line in the past, many months ago now though, and there technical folks said it was all fine, i've done the BT thing where i can check for noise and that seems fine, im using an XTE-2005 filter plate on the main phone socket (it's the only one we have infact, there is no other sockets in the house) and it also has the house phone connected to it.
So all in all im quite well setup as far i know, but what else should i be checking for? could the new router make a difference?
As a final note: ive tried different cables as well, just to make sure i've checked everything
EDIT: one thing i forgot to add was that it used to switch between G.992.5 and G.992.3 for modulation with each disconnect, i've not had a chance to check if that is still the case though
