Hello.
It is very frustrating when my wired computer keeps disconnecting but I know this happens with most ISPs. However when mine disconnects it tells me on the computer with a "!" but on the router it takes 5 minutes for the lights to actually go out then another 5 minutes for it to re-connect. Are there any settings that may need changing? I had a problem where my xbox wouldn't pick up my PC and vice verser (still have the problem now but I just gave up) and I changed a few settings and thought this may be the problem.

Any settings I should check over/is it the settings?

~Thanks

Have a look in the settings of the router and see what line stats it's giving you when it's active and when it goes down. Could just be that your ISP has set too low a SNR and it can't cope with it at certain times.

You will be looking for stuff like Attenuation, Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), Connection speed in Up and Down directions.

Depending on your router you may be able to get more in depth stats for errors and stuff.
