discord - one button for mute, another for unmute?

i've had a quick search but been unable to find an answer to this.

in the keybinds setting on discord there appears to be only either toggle to mute/unmute, or push to mute.

i'm hoping there is a way to have 1 button to mute, and another different button to unmute.

anyone know if it's possible?

Thanks for the reply.

I stream and use obs to for that.

When I mute myself in discord, I want discord to be muted entirely on my stream too so that when I'm talking, if people in discord are chatting, viewers don't hear them over me.

The trouble comes as I have macro 1 to mute me and mute them on obs, and macro 2 to defen and mute them on obs.

Sometimes I mute myself so that I can still hear discord, doing this at times when I expect to say a quick reply while still hearing with my team mates are saying, however sometimes once I've muted I realise I need to defen as the team mates are chatting way too much. If once I've muted, I click macro 2 to defen, the way obs works is it will unmute the discord so viewers now hear my team mates whole I don't. Then when I'm done if I click undefen, obs now is out of sink and mutes discord.

Hopefully that makes sense.

What I'd like is macro 1 to mute me and discord, macro 2 to defend me and mute discord, macro 4 to unmute everything/undefen, so that way I can just clock 1 different button once done to be sure everything is definitely back to normal.

I guess you could build a macro which on mute, swapped the mute button to something else. It would effectively have the same effect so long as nether button had any other features.

Sounds like a strange thing to do though.
