Have always had a soft spot for these.

Anyone on here ever owned or driven one?

If so, what are they like?

Good and Bad points welcome.

Thanks in advance.

I thought these were absolutely horrific to insure. Surely a younger driver would be better of looking elsewhere?

Yes, I found this out last year. The quotes were pretty high.... The thought of being able to insure the Elise or VX220 for much less is lol'able to say the least!

Im 26 with 3NCB and my insurance is only £800. was pleased with that :)
They are very good cars, becomming cheap now. Will love mine even more when ive had all my siezed bolts and suspension geo done by Garage R in the next few months!

Reasonable price :)

.......compared to?

Mine is polybushed and while it's not going to waft over the road surface and take any bump in it's stride I am not getting out and thinking 'cor blimey me back! I can happily do a 5 hour drive and not be tired, uncomfortable, cramped or otherwise. Everyone is different though.

Something like the Recaros in my corsa.
