Let me make this clear, once and for all. Running OS X on non-Apple labeled hardware violates clause 2A of the OS X 10.4 "Tiger" license agreement. Therefore you may not legally run OS X on anything other than a Mac. We do not allow discussion of such activities here. That includes providing links, helping people do this, 'hinting' at details, nudges, winks, etc.

While this isn't a problem in this forum yet, I'd like to stop it before it starts. Therefore, please take this as a warning. If it becomes excessive, suspension of accounts may follow.
 
An apology form me (I think).....

I asked the question in the first place to see if it was feasible as I saw what a Mac OS is like on my brothers Macbook. I thought that if you just bought the OS on its own to run on PC hardware that was OK (just like buying Windows or Linux); I was not aware of that clause. :(

Never mind.....

Should make that clear then , we can't have every tom, dick and harry posting comments like that. :p

If you look at how long I've been on these forums (and thats before the big bang!) then you can see I'm posting only in the interest of the forum.
 
While I agree with all point's in this thread, can we also be aware of mis-guided user's who may not be aware that installing OS X on a pc is illegal, even though they have the intention of buying it. Not everyone is a dirty hacker and there is no need to "treat" them like that.

Also, no need to shoot down people who are merely looking for way's of testing their websites. There are much more constructive way's helping people than what happened last night (people going "OMG ILLEGALS DON'T TALK ABOUT INSTALLING OS X"), with the poor web developer. He was simply mis-guided and probably not aware of such websites like http://www.browsrcamp.com/
