Be very careful hosting email off your home connections, a lot of ISP IP addresses are blacklisted for spam because of the huge numbers of infected machines being used to send out junk mail.

If you don't want to pay for email hosting, try something like hosted Gmail.
 
I am aware of the threats becuase i have previosuly run many mail // webserver services :) and am willing to take the risk to have a fully managed mail system for the small internet community i run :)
