Hi guys,

Not sure which of the two relevant forums to put this in. So I closed my eyes and clicked... :p

I was hoping someone might be able to give me a bit of an idea of what version I should go for?
I'm typically more of a PC game type of chap, but is the game more of a cinematic experience on the PS3 on a big tv?

Any thoughts would be appreciated :)

If you can hook your pc up to your tv, then whammy? If not, then personally i'd still go for the pc version.
 
Also, was it developed with consoles in mind and the PC as an afterthough?

It's just I had the experience of playing Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning recently on the PC, and the UI is an abomination in my opinion. Completely intended for consoles.

And are the controls more suited to a gamepad?
 
I found it horrible to play this with a controller personally but thats because I didn't like having to pause to switch abilities and such. I much preferred pressing 1-9 on the keyboard.

I'm also much faster at aiming with a mouse so :p

No, you can completely change the UI to your liking iirc like removing and adding information etc, at least according to a press release they made before the game came out.

Still waiting for it to be £10 before I buy :p
 
If there is a choice I don't understand why you would go for a console over PC at this point.

PC. For me Dishonoured is the best game I've played this year, and it'll take some beating. First game I played to completion twice, 2nd time right after I finished the first (trying to not kill a single person and only killed 1).

Great game.
