Dishonored

Hi guys,

Just picked this up but every time I launch it the game is running in the background (I can hear the game music) but it crashes my monitor and turns it off

I've tried searching the net but no answers anywhere, something suggests creating a shortcut and launching in window mode adding "-windowed" to the target line but that states invalid target and won't let me add the line.

Can anyone help? On the verge of refunding as I have been messing about for over an hour and cannot fix it.

I've tried about half a dozen fixes and nothing worked, thanks for the tips but I cannot be bothered just requested a refund.
